    • Adding texture or images, like wood to the grounds plane.

      Adding an option to the grounds plane property where you can add textures like wood or cement onto the grounds plane. It's helpful when rendering something that needs a surface as a background. And being able to change angles and still make the object look like its sitting on the same surface.

            All of the models that we include in the app or sell on Adobe Stock already have UVs added, so just to be clear you’re asking for a 2D image version of the UVs that you could take into Photoshop or Illustrator, etc, correct?

            Now I go further in the creative possibilities and I wish create my own materials. But it's really hard to adjust the size and orientation of a homemade texture to the face of an object. The offset, angle and zoom are never the same from one object to another.

              Thank you for the suggestion (and sharing your work). Just to be clear I understand the request you’d like to set up tiling/rotation etc. of a texture on one model, then when you use it on another model have it be effectively the same size on the screen?

              Would that mean if the objects are different scale that the texture automatically sizes up or down for the model to maintain a consistent visual pattern?

              This would be really nice to have the ability to turn the workstation to the sleep mode after the rendering process is done.

                  • Normals pattern only repeats once when a decal is applied to it.

                    When using a custom normals map combined with a decal. Normals map is scaled to fit the entire object 1 x time, not allowing repeat pattern

                      • The camera-bookmarks menu hides the preview window

                        Hello,
                        I often use camera bookmarks to quickly display several zoom on the image (close-up, whole object, just a part, ...). But at the same time, I need to see the preview window to verify the quality of the lights. This is not possible because the bookmark menu hides it. And if you put the preview window in full screen, the bookmark menu disappears. It would be perfect if the bookmark menu could still be visible and do not hide the preview window.

                                        At this point, you can only apply a small decal, but sometimes you're required to make a full wrap.

                                        I got by with a general curve for a recent presentation, but the image was still cropped off on both ends. In lieu, of the advancements that I am sure are coming, would be nice to have templates to build into for presentation to match the models provided (ie warped smart objects for coffee cup model). At least for the free ones that come with the software.

                                        • quick human skin material

                                          Can we get a human skin material?

                                          I'm not talking something too fancy, just something that gives us a starting point for a quick and accurate sss and a start at texture. something we can touch up in photoshop or apply a freckle decal too spice it up a little.

                                          Forgive me if this is already a thing, and I just haven't seen it.

                                          also, if anybody has any tips on rendering skin in here, I'm all ears. my best luck has been with the wax material.

                                            Skin usually requires a special material and shader sub-type due to it’s unique qualities. At the moment we don’t have a skin material type or the shaders hooked up to render them correctly, but it’s something we’ve discussed and we want to add support for in the future. I’ll be sure to update here as we move forward on skin!
