Cut Tool to Split Models
There needs to be a way to cut or splice the model to create points that can be stretched, rotated or moved from the object separate from the rest of it.
Hello everyone! The Dimension team is very interested in the topic of creation/modeling/editing as a whole. We haven’t added any creation so far, but are actively researching this area. We have a new survey on modeling and editing and would love your thoughts on the topic!

There needs to be a way to separate combined models into separate models.
For example if there is a 3d model that is a fork by a spoon then you can split the model and move the spoon without moving the fork.

Anything that Maya has would be a great addition
Oh and a tool to kind of like...highlight multiple points at once.
Like, a Cutting tool that lets you trace slices in the meshes. Where each of the lines interest or start have it be a point that you can stretch, rotate, move, or delete.

I need to reposrt a feature request, because I'm facing an issue I can't solve with Felix.
I have a model with multiple parts identified by material, but only one mesh. I can select the part with the Magic wand, but can't delete it without all the mesh. It should be valuable to be able to ungroup/dissociate this selection in order to have 2 separate object in the scene graph.
I guess that it's not too difficult to bo and should be useful for people who need to use files from any location, origin, (cad, game, scan, etc) with no or poor structure/hierarchy.
