Export decal as separate layer
HI! Great start on this application, could be amazing.
Right off the bat, it's imperative to be able to export a label or decal separate from the object it's on. Would be a great feature - not so usable until thats there. Thanks!
Mike

Thanks for the suggestion and details! We’ll definitely keep this in mind. It was something we investigated, but couldn’t do it too easily. I’m sure we can with some more time!

I can not believe that you did not consider this yet. You have the opportunity to do that. It can not be that hard. You are just going to add a smart object layer to psd file and that will be connected to the uv map of the object so it will know how to wrap the object.

I am trying too hard to mimic the label I inserted in dimensions (and exported to photoshop). The perfection of the label warp around the bottle can not be done in ps. So, if you have a feature of adding a label on to the 3d object, that should be exported as a smart object to be edited in ps when needed (like changing the label and creating the perfect mock up)

Did this ever get reviewed? Would love to be able to use it as a smart object in PS

Still interested in this one, wether separate layer for each decals (now that we can have multiple decals) or at least a separate additional layer to select them.

If decals were exported as editable smart objects in Photoshop it could be a great feature for creating realistic mockups with customizable graphics.

Hi Jeanette! Thanks for the prompt response. If it could export as its own rendered layer in the final psd, that would be great.
