Material Settings by Alpha / Masks
I'd like to be able to use alpha channels to make certain parts reflective and other parts matte finish
Thank you for the suggestion! I’m curious if you’ve used the existing method of creating a mask for roughness/metallic properties? If so, what are your thoughts on that workflow? How do you imagine it being different?

Layer properties settings for images used for logo decal.
E.g when you have a black and white image (jpg), you don't need to separately make one with transperency when you only want the black to show up.
