Decals in UV Space
How do you get decals to use UV coordinates?
Decals currently use a smart projection method and don’t use the original UVs. We plan to add a ‘UV’ option so that you can add layered graphics in UV space.
Hi Tatiana! You can still use your original textures in the Material "Base Color" slot. Just ensure your texture is exported the full UV 0-1 UV then double click the model to edit the material and drag the image into the base color slot.

YES! the product I render is too complex to use decals and was disappointed to see I can't just use the textures I had already created for my product because the UVs were wrong.
