Apple Silicon (Mac M1) Support
In 2020 Apple announced that they would be transitioning to their custom silicon for Mac devices.
Adobe Dimension should run on these devices.
Hello everyone! I’m very happy to say we have not only gotten M1 Rosetta emulation working for Stager but were also able to quickly get it working on Dimension as well.
For anyone who is interested in early access to help us test this version of Dimension or Stager, please use this invitation link to down the build from our prerelease program:
I want to apologize again for the extremely long wait on this topic, and thank you for your patience.
If you have any issues using the builds, please leave a comment on the prerelease program forums so we can track the issues!
If all goes well we will roll this out officially in September as new Dimension & Stager releases.

How many votes are needed to realize the native support for M1 in Dimension?
Thanks in advance for transparency.

Seems like Adobe doesn’t care about their customers AT ALL!
I am a student. Affording a M1 MacBook was way out of my budget but somehow I managed to bought it. With Adobe Creative cloud apps and the power of M1, I was hoping that I would be able to stay ahead in my game. My college adapted to teach Adobe Dimension as a starter 3D program for the first semester. Guess what? I’m the only one who is left behind and everyone is ahead of me.
Well, Thanks Adobe! Great Job!

Can honestly say I’m losing support for this company 🤦🏾♂️ Moved to DaVinci for editing... and the only other reason for me staying with them (other than PS) isn’t even compatible with an M1!? Do better, or I’ll be forced to replace all of Adobe products with alternatives!! Already looking for a dimension alternative; you guys dropped the ball smfh

Wow already 30th March 2021 and no support from Apple nor Adobe on Dimension. Such bad form.

So it's nearly 2 months since the last inadequate feedback from Adobe. This is far far far from impressive.

This is really so important to my new business. Can you please give an update as to when we will have a version for at least Rosetta 2?

My old Mac Book was too old for running Dimensions, so I bought a new Mac.
Sodo you have the release date for a version of dimension that work with M1, even on Rosetta2
Cesare Brandini commented
You have any date for a version of dimension that work with M1, even on Rosetta2

I’m in a jam, had to get a new mac, now I can’t download or run Dimension. I was in the middle of a big job, freelance, using the application.
Would it be possible to access a prerelease version of Dimension once it’s up and running?
It would really save me from a pretty bad situation.

This is honestly pathetic, y'all knew apple is transitioning to arm and you had so much time to transition your apps. Literally been almost a year since they announced it. You're a multi-billion dollar company who still hasn't transitioned their apps, meanwhile independent developers have had their apps ready for apple silicon since launch day. People are paying subscriptions so they can use your apps on their devices, right? Except we can't even use them. Tragic

Are there any ideas as to when dimensions will be available for M1 Macs, my last computer had to be replaced and the only one I could get for what I needed in time for the new class semester is an M1 MacBook Pro. Should I be making arrangements on a school computer or a friend's computer in order to access Dimensions for class? I find it very strange that Dimensions is one of the only applications not available on M1, I know you are all working hard on it I just wish there was a expected date

I also would like dimensions on M1 Macs
