Depth slider for decals as seen in Keyshot5 votes
We plan on adding a depth slider for decals to give embossing and debossing effects in the future. I don’t have a specific timeline for that yet, but it’s on our roadmap!
Would love the addition of Displacement maps so we can get some added details out of certain models. Would add a lot of realism for an otherwise flat world of extras beside normals.4 votes
Unfortunately Dimension does not support displacement or height maps yet. We do have this in-progress!
It could be valuable if we can have the transform gizmo of the decal also ifor shader's texture.
It could be valuable to unlink diffuse and normal maps transformations.
Sometimes diffuse maps and texture maps don't have the same "physical" size...3 votes
Thank you for the suggestion! We do plan on enabling in-canvas manipulation of materials and individual textures. Not sure yet when that will get in, but you’ll get an update here when it’s available.
How do you get decals to use UV coordinates?2 votes
Decals currently use a smart projection method and don’t use the original UVs. We plan to add a ‘UV’ option so that you can add layered graphics in UV space.

We are planning on allowing graphic layers to be set to a fill mode which will tile it across the surface.

We plan to add a ‘fill’ option for decals which allow them to fill the material they’re applied to. You can then tile and scale them.
