Multiple View WIndows
It will be helpful to have different view panel layout on screen while creating file- top/front/3D view together
18 votesWork for multiple view windows hasn’t begun and is still in review. While we understand the value of multiple viewports we have a good bit of work to do on improving the one viewport we currently have. We’re focusing on the current composition, bookmark and render experience for this year but will probably start looking into multiple cameras and viewports more next year.

Adding texture or images, like wood to the grounds plane.
Adding an option to the grounds plane property where you can add textures like wood or cement onto the grounds plane. It's helpful when rendering something that needs a surface as a background. And being able to change angles and still make the object look like its sitting on the same surface.
13 votesWe can add something that would project across the entire ground plane. In the mean time you can add a plane object and then place an image onto that and change it’s full material properties.

Multitouch Trackpad Supoort
Trackpad (MacBook, Magic Trackpad) Support for paning around with two fingers and rotating with two-fingers-gestures.
8 votesDefinitely something we want to add support for!

save environment
Provide the ability to save the environment as a template so it can be reused with many different models. For example, if we want to use it to render product photos, so they all have a consistent presentation (lighting, materials, etc.).
7 votesThanks for the idea! We’re evaluating saving many things. We’re starting with saving models and materials, but may include full templated scenes later. For the moment I’d recommend saving your .dn scenes itself then you can import a new object.

Wider scrollbars
Maybe I'm a little shortsighted, but I think it would be great if the scroll bars were a few pixels wider throughout the interface.
6 votesThanks for the suggestion! We’ll definitely be keeping an eye on the UI elements and adjusting.

dark menu bar for dark theme - windows
make menu bar match dark theme (like photoshop) for windows

Allow Accuracy of Property Values to Three (3) Decimal Places
Currently the Property Values only adjust to 1 decimal place (Ex: 1.2).
But that is way to rough. Three decimal places (Ex: 1.259) would allow for fine changes to settings.5 votes -
Select Same (Material)
Illustrator has a handy function that could be very useful in Dimension. When a single vector object is selected, you can click on the "Select" menu and choose "Same". Then you can choose a whole bunch of different attributes such as appearance or Fill Color or Stroke.
I would like to select a single part or object in Dimension and choose Select Same Material and have it select all the objects with the same material.
I know I can group all the objects with the same material together. I do that now as a work around. It would just be…
4 votesThis is a great idea and definitely something we can do. I’m marking it as under review and will discuss with the team!

Title Bar File Name
UI:
On macOS, we should be able to ⌘-click on the file's name in the title bar to reveal its path.

Switch canvas orientation with a single button
As per photoshop you can swap the canvas orientation with a single arrow button ( between W and H )and not have to retype measurments.
3 votesCurious how often you use this. Is it just to quickly get to landscape/portrait or do you often want the exact same resolution just oriented differently? Photoshop definitely does a lot more image setup, so not sure how important this will be in Dimension for the larger crowd, but curious to hear peoples thoughts!

dragging pics from desktop
When dragging a pic from the Finder, for example, PF could ask the user how to use the image. The current version just uses it as background image and that's that. What if I want to use it as texture for an object?
3 votesGreat suggestion, something we’ve thought about as well. We’d like to make it contextual so where you drop it has input on what happens as well.

Shortcuts window
A pop-up window you can activate by views (that you can pin on top) that has the shortcuts listed. Makes it easier rather than having to hover over the tools each time. Will save me having various bits of paper and guides all over the place :)
3 votesThanks for the suggestion! This is something we’ve been thinking about as well. :) When you say “pin on top” can you describe what you mean?

grid toggle - scale settings
I would like to toggle the Grid on/off and set the scale of the grid ( metric/inches/feet/etc..)

French keyboard shortcuts
I have a "default french shortcuts" issue on the new camera behaviors :
I like it a lot to have top, right, left view, assigned to 1234, except, by default, on a standard french mac keyboard, top row is dedicated to &é"'(§è!çà). You can press shift to get 1234… but that means alt-2 becomes alt-shift-2 on a laptop, and it becomes way less practical as a 2 fingers shortcut.
I've also recently discovered the pref menu, so I know i should be able to edit this, but:
1. if you make a "french keyboard default setup", that would really help. …1 voteThank you for the suggestion! I’ll bring this up with the internationalization team, it’s something new for us so we don’t have a precedent here, but I’m sure possible!

Scene Panel Sorting & Filtering
Under 'scenes', want way of making the menu alphabetical ,for sure, but also perhaps date modified. Sometimes there are too many and it's very boring looking for things which because you're zoomed in, you don't want to find by looking at the object then clicking.
1 voteWe’ve started some discussion around adding scene panel sorting & filtering. Not sure if we’re doing it (yet) but actively discussing!
-
Window title to include filename
The title is just a static "Adobe Dimension"
This makes using automatic time tracking software impossible to decipher what file was being worked on.
Should be an easy addition
1 voteThank you for the suggestion. This is not something we’ve currently been looking into, but I will mention it to the design org who handles the larger application frame UI and UX.

Allow user to put the "Tool options" back in the "view control bar" above the canvas, please.
Dimension used to have the "Tool options" in a "view control bar" above the canvas. With an update, the "Tool options" was moved to a pop-out window attached to the toolbar.
PLEASE make an option for users to move the "Tool options" back to the "view control bar".
1 voteThank you so much for the feedback, we are looking into better display of tool options. Let us know if you have any more thoughts you would like to add!

Assets Used Panel
This may already exist but it would be nice to have a section that has which lighting and other options (such as material) has been chosen.
For when you can't remember what you have chosen!
1 voteWe are reviewing some way to see assets that are already in-use in your document.
