    Hello everyone! Sadly this issue has been persistent for a few years and while it usually only affects a small number of files, it’s different causes each time it comes up.

    Please send your file that won’t open to us so we can investigate to tickets@adobedimension.com.

    If the file is small (<20 MB) you can attach it directly.
    If it is a larger file, please send via a share link to Dropbox, Google Drive, WeTransfer, OneDrive, or another file sharing platform.

    Yeah, you guys still haven't fixed it 4 years later. This just happened to me and it's almost 2021 now. There goes about 18 hours of work. Thanks.

    AND you're ignoring us who keep telling you it is a serious problem. Thanks again. I think I'll go learn to use Blender now.

    I just lost 5 hours of work. Why doesn't Adobe seem to care about this? It's been years. We have gone through many, many updates. But this massive need isn't even garnering any attention.

    Hello! Definitely a great suggestion and something the team is considering heavily right now. It didn’t make our first few beta releases, but it’s on our roadmap for sure. I’ll let you know when we’re closer. :)

    I just lost 5 hours of work myself. And it was extremely tedious and NOT FUN. Dimension just randomly stopped responding, and I realized that I had not saved my work at any point, and that it will be lost. I am extremely PO'd.

    Why is auto-save still not a thing? It has been 3 years.
