I saw something like this on the Esko Studio software where they paint the UV map on the object, indicating where the graphic would be in. say you have to objects in the scene like Jar with a Lid and want the graphic to continue from the jar to the lid you just indicate by painting or would great if you just group the object and you have on uv map.

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for your patience and interest in this idea over the last several years. At Adobe MAX 2018 we demoed a technology called Project Fantastic Fold, and over the last year we’ve been working on bringing that into reality.

I’m pleased to say we’re opening our first private beta for Project Fantastic Fold, a tool for interactively folding dielines into 3D models.

The private beta requires you to join the Prerelease. If you’re interested please head to https://www.fantasticfold.com/ and sign up for the beta program!

I would love to see some of the features in Esko's Studio software that uses a plug-n for Adobe illustrator with their program Esko studio.

Hey all, just wanted to give a little update on Animation for Dimension. We believe animation is an important part of working with 3D and do plan to include animation features in the future, however it will not be for 2019. Likely this will start in 2020 but I’ll update as we get closer!

maybe a turntable animation with one folder for png frames and one assembled final movie file when rendered, like in the program key shot.

that would be cool, it would be like a plug-in for illustrator or photoshop like Esko studio
    here is the link https://youtu.be/2mm1jpOmNeI
if we can make illustrator and dimension seamless jumping one to the other with ease
    that would be awesome!.

Thanks Jeanatte, my computer at work (mac pro tower Mid 2010)since the lunch of Filex still doesn't work like everyone else, and i already gave the info of what you need post, but a small update, for some reason my laptop at home which is a macbook pro 15 early 2011 works great with felix only the render is a bit slow because of its old GPU i'm guessing, good luck with the bug fixes. i know its hard to debug stuff when you don't have all the info.
