Hello everyone! Thank you so much for your patience and interest in this idea over the last several years. At Adobe MAX 2018 we demoed a technology called Project Fantastic Fold, and over the last year we’ve been working on bringing that into reality.
I’m pleased to say we’re opening our first private beta for Project Fantastic Fold, a tool for interactively folding dielines into 3D models.
The private beta requires you to join the Prerelease. If you’re interested please head to https://www.fantasticfold.com/ and sign up for the beta program!

A lot of people here want Dieline / Blueprint folding / modelling in Adobe Dimension.
I use a paid plugin for Illustrator called Origami, by a company called Boxshot.
I've been using it with Adobe Dimension since it was first released, and it works brilliantly at processing simple box layouts / artworks into usable .obj 3D models, which can then be used in scenes and marketing material! It also supports foiling, gloss etc.
I dont personally think this is required in Dimension, as it is a highly specific function that only people working in Packaging will require a feature like this!
