Definitely possible! Are you thinking something in Dimension where you pick a device 3D model then connect an XD doc to the screen?
Would you want anything particular there functionality wise inside of Dimension?
Would love the ability to render a XD preview on my dimension model as a video output... Perhaps by adding a timeline that allows to create "steps". i.e. we could add a step to the timeline and choose a frame from our xd preview as the image for that step, and xd auto animate would run between the frames or however we have our preview set up. We would then be able to render branding scenes with business cards, devices etc with our previews of web mockups and have them animate. Greatest stationary mock ever!

What kind of video would you want to make? More like quick turn-arounds, .gifs, mo-graphs or full animated scenes?
And yes, being able to use on websites for interactive pages would be great!
I love the idea of simple animations. A good reference for you guys while reviewing this would be the way Sketchup handles animations for camera movement. I'd really like to be able to create a movie clip that includes keyframes between views. For example, I'm doing renders of a label design for a water bottle that I'm rebuilding. It would be awesome instead of doing 3 separate renders to instead animate the bottle rotating in place. You could do this simply by using the saved camera option dimension already has, and just allowing the program to auto-move between saved views. That would be the simplest course of action.

Hey everyone, Jeanette with the Dimension team here. We are conducting a survey all about 3D Characters!
This survey takes 10 minutes to complete. The survey will remain open until Friday, March 22nd at 12:00 PM PT.
Here is the link for the survey:
At the end of the survey, you will have the option to indicate whether you are interested in participating in a 60-minute, 1:1 research interview about 3D characters. Selected participants will receive a $100 USD Amazon gift card as a thank you for their time, upon completion of the interview.
Would love to be able to import fuse characters and pose for composition. Would be very useful for rendering trade show booths and other large format mockups as this would greatly help with the viewers sense of scale.
